Description
Assassin’s Creed – Bloodlines is an action-adventure stealth-based game that came out in 2009. It was produced by Griptonite Games and published by Ubisoft. The story of the game revolves around the protagonist Altair ibn La’Ahad who sets out to Malta to eliminate all the surviving Templar Order. The story further explores the romantic relationship between Altair and Maria Thorpe, a Templar agent, whom Altair had saved in the first game and subsequently married.
Announced by Sony in June 2009 and to be available in November for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) game console, Assassin’s Creed is a game that brings the core gameplay of the original Assassin’s Creed and open-world exploration to a portable device.
Gameplay
The game maintains the features of stealth and action-adventure that were prevalent in the first series. It continues with the story of Altair Ibn La’Ahad as he goes to Malta in an attempt to settle the remnants of the Templar Order once and for all. One of its features is an open-world atmosphere, where running across rooftops, climbing up walls, or silently killing foes is possible.
The combat system of the series uses swords, knives, and throwing knives for the purpose of ranged attacks. Apart from head-on fighting with the enemies, stealth attacks are also used to kill them. Hiding in crowds and overcoming other obstacles are added features to the gameplay.
The game is particularly developed for the PSP and displays wonderful graphics with silky-smooth performance. It is the best example of portable gaming due to its fast-paced missions and easy controls. Fans of Assassin’s Creed enjoy this game a lot because of the depth of its story and gameplay.
