Description
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is an action-adventure remake for the Nintendo 3DS. It is an enhanced version of the original 1998 version, which was originally released for the Nintendo 64. The game offers a completely new experience with better graphics and 3D visuals but the same classic gameplay.
It has several upgraded features: an enhanced control system, more vibrant graphics, and most importantly, a new Master Quest mode that offers the original story in a very challenging version. Its good gameplay and great graphics have attracted the attention of players.
Story
The legend starts in the dark kingdom of Hyrule. The hero is the very talented young boy, Link; that power is thrust upon the responsibility of defending the realm from some powerful enemy.
The movie starts in Kokiri Forest where Link lives his childhood among special children known as the Kokiri. There, a fairy called Na’vi is his sidekick and tells him of the existence of a wizard by the name of Ganondorf, who intends to acquire the sacred object Triforce, which promises absolute power. To start off, he discovers three Spiritual Stones, which later makes him understand how huge his mission is with the help of Princess Zelda.
Link shows up seven years after obtaining the Master Sword. At this time, Ganondorf has conquered Hyrule and plunged it into darkness. Link then goes to different parts of the kingdom to awaken the powers of the seven sages, who can seal Ganondorf away.
Game Play
The gameplay of the game is very interesting; the player controls the character Link as he travels through a large world called Hyrule. This world contains various places, including Kokiri Forest, Hyrule Field, Jungle Temple, and Fire Mountain. In every place, secret puzzles and enemies are hidden that challenge the player.
The game is very important in terms of the use of weapons and equipment. Link has multiple tools in his hands, such as swords, shields, boomerangs, bombs, and bows that help him defeat enemies and solve complex puzzles. In each dungeon or temple, he has to solve puzzles to be able to reach the boss. The dungeons have different items and challenges, which is what makes the game even more fun.
There is an interesting feature of time traveling. Link travels to different periods—childhood and adulthood. This not only enriches the story but also plays a very important role in solving various puzzles in the game.
Link’s primary main weapon is Master Sword, which he uses to defeat enemies and battle the enemy, Ganondorf. Additionally, the player can talk to various other characters in Hyrule to assist them in completing side quests.
